💌 Changed your mind? For products to which the right of withdrawal applies, you have 14 days to inform us of your decision.

This policy supplements our General Terms and Conditions of Sale and specifies the procedures applicable to withdrawals, returns, refunds and defective products.

🇪🇺 Your right of withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your decision.

For a sale involving goods, this period runs from receipt of the product by you or or by a third party other than the carrier, that you have designated.

When several products from the same order are delivered separately, the period runs from of receiving the last product.

💻 Online withdrawal

The easiest way to exercise your right is to use our online withdrawal feature, available at all times from the website footer.

Withdrawal from the contract

This feature allows you to identify your order and the products concerned and send us your statement of withdrawal.

An electronic acknowledgment of receipt is sent in accordance with applicable regulations.

📞 Processing your request

After receiving your request, our team may contact you to confirm the products concerned and provide you with the information useful for the return.

We recommend waiting these instructions to facilitate the identification and processing of your return.

This recommendation neither suspends nor extends the statutory period you have to return your product.

⚠️ Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

In accordance in particular with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, certain categories of products are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal notably cannot cannot be exercised concerning:

goods made according to your specifications or clearly personalized;
goods delivered sealed, unsealed after delivery and can no longer be returned for hygiene reasons or health protection;
the other products covered by a legal exception to the right of withdrawal.

💜 Intimate products, sextoys, lingerie, cosmetics and lubricants

Given the nature of certain products marketed by Adopt1Toy, specific hygiene rules may apply.

are notably likely to be concerned certain sextoys, intimate accessories, intimate wellness products, lingerie, cosmetics, lubricants, and care products when they are supplied with a seal, blister pack, hygienic protection or any other device ensuring that they have not been opened.

When the product falls under the legal exception related to hygiene or health protection, the opening, breaking, or removal of its hygiene protection device results in the loss of the right of withdrawal for this product.

However, as long as the product remains unsealed and its hygiene protection remains intact, the right of withdrawal remains applicable when the other legal conditions are met.

📦 Can I open my parcel?

Yes. Opening the box or packaging the outer packaging used for delivery does not alone forfeit your right of withdrawal.

For products not covered by of the hygiene-related exception, you may examine and handle them to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and their proper functioning, as you could reasonably do so in a store.

You may, however, be liable of any potential depreciation resulting from handling that goes beyond what is necessary to examine the product.

For an intimate product featuring of a sealed hygiene seal, this possibility of examination does not allow you to break the seal when the product falls under the exception provided for for hygiene reasons or health protection reasons.

🔁 Return of eligible products

After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, you have a maximum period of and no later than to return the product concerned to us.

The product must be returned with the components and accessories with the accompanying components and accessories.

We recommend keeping and use the original packaging when it is still available, in particular to protect it properly the product during transport.

The absence of the original commercial packaging does not, however, automatically forfeit the right of withdrawal when it remains legally applicable.

For products subject to a hygiene seal the hygiene seal's integrity of which determines the right of withdrawal, this protection must absolutely must have remained intact.

🚚 Return costs

In the event of withdrawal, the direct costs of returning the product are the Customer's responsibility.

They are, however, covered when such coverage results from the statutory warranty, results from an error attributable to Adopt1Toy or another legal obligation.

When a prepaid return label is made available to you for an accurate return, it must be used solely dans le cadre du retour pour lequel as part of the return for which

💶 Refund after withdrawal When the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, Adopt1Toy refunds the amounts legally required to be refunded to you, including the costs corresponding to the standard delivery method

🔧 Defective or non-conforming product A defective or non-conforming product is covered by the legal guarantees

and not the simple right of withdrawal. In the event of a lack of conformity, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity under the conditions provided for by Articles L.217-3

and following of the French Consumer Code. You may notably request bringing the product into conformity by repair or replacement,

under the conditions provided for by law. Bringing the product into conformity is carried out at no cost to the consumer and must take place within a reasonable period not exceeding 30 days

following the request. In the situations provided for by law, in particular when bringing it into conformity is impossible, refused, too late or remains unsuccessful, you may also be entitled to a price reduction

🔄 Exchanges

For a simple change of mind, Adopt1Toy generally does not offer not a direct exchange.

You may exercise your right of withdrawal for the eligible product, then place a new order for the desired item.

This commercial policy does not limit your right to request a replacement of a product when it is covered by under the legal guarantee of conformity.
