Macho Underwear briefs white and black

The MCH006 uses the same construction as the rest of the MACHO Underwear classic range, this time in a more contrasting black-and-white color combination than the blue and red of the MCH005. I recommend it if you want a graphic base without bright colors, easy to add to a drawer already filled with more neutral shades.

A more contrasting two-tone design

The push-up pouch at the front slightly defines the silhouette, without adding bulk that shows under fitted clothing. The black-and-white contrast makes this model easier to pair than a bright color, while giving it a more distinctive look than a completely plain brief. The supplier also presents this model as resistant and durable, a useful quality for a piece intended for regular rather than occasional wear.

Composition and comfort

The supplier's product information states that it is made of 78% polyamide and 22% elastane and polyester, a stretchy Lycra fabric designed to follow the body all day without feeling restrictive. It has the same composition as the MCH005 and MCH007 from the same range; only the color actually changes from one model to another. Having this information for all three models in the MACHO line allows me to give you more complete details than for other pieces where the supplier only mentions a soft, stretchy fabric.

Care

As with the other models in the range, machine washing at a low temperature is generally suitable for this polyamide and elastane blend. I recommend washing the white section separately the first few times to prevent the black from bleeding onto it. Air-drying rather than using a tumble dryer also helps preserve the push-up pouch for longer.

Sizes

Available in S, M, L and XL like the rest of the line, this model has no precise weight provided by the supplier—I won't make up a figure in its place.

Who it's for—and who it's not

I recommend it if you want briefs that subtly define your shape without looking obvious, suitable for everyday wear as well as a more special date. For a more covering and completely plain style, take a look at the MCH007 in solid black from the same briefs and boxer briefs collection.

Black and white remains a safe choice if you want an easy-to-match piece without having to think about it, whether for a well-stocked drawer or to start a MACHO collection. The durability highlighted by the supplier also makes it a good starting point if you are not yet familiar with the brand.
