Description
This Mixgliss gel serves as both a lubricant and a massage gel, with a texture designed for the slippery full-body contact of Japanese Nuru massage. I recommend it when you want to turn a classic massage into a more enveloping experience, in the shower, in the bath, or on a waterproof surface. The 150 ml format can be mixed with up to 50% warm water for even more glide, and then rinses off easily with clean water.
A formula with Japanese seaweed and aloe vera
Its water-based formula is enriched with Japanese seaweed extract (laminaria japonica) and aloe vera leaf extract, with 98% naturally derived ingredients. The full ingredient list also includes glycerin, trehalose, gluconolactone, and chamomile flower extract, among others. Fragrance-free and colorless, it has a transparent, fluid, dense texture that is neither sticky nor greasy. The manufacturer states that it is dermatologically tested, has a skin-friendly pH, and is suitable for vegans. It is made in France, which is something my customers often ask me about for this type of intimate product.
How I use it for a Nuru massage
Pour the gel directly onto your partner's body, then adjust the consistency by mixing one dose of gel with one dose of warm water to make it even more slippery. Start the full-body massage in the shower, in the bath, or on a waterproof surface, sliding each part of your body against the other, from the shoulders down to the legs. It is also compatible with sex toys, making it a versatile base beyond massage.
Precautions to know, and who it is for
The manufacturer recommends consulting a doctor or pharmacist in case of an allergy, rinsing thoroughly with water if it gets into the eyes, and advises against using this gel on children under 5 or on pregnant women. I recommend it if you want to explore Nuru massage without looking for a particular fragrance, including if your skin usually reacts badly to fragranced products; if you prefer to focus on aloe vera as the star ingredient, I also have another version in my selection of water-based lubricants.
