My review
At its core, Mixgliss delivers the same serious approach as the rest of its NÜ range: an ingredient list published line by line, quantified natural-origin content, and complete fragrance-free neutrality that lets reactive skin stay comfortable. Mixing it with lukewarm water turns a simple bottle into a playground, from classic lubricant to a fully slippery surface.
My one honest reservation concerns the aloe itself: it is present in the ingredient list, but its concentration is not disclosed, so I can’t tell you whether it works as a genuine care ingredient or simply as a label claim. Treat it as an excellent all-purpose gel, not as a repairing cosmetic.
Who it’s not for: ruled out by the manufacturer during pregnancy. And if it’s the Japanese seaweed used in traditional Nuru that appeals to you, its twin with laminaria extracts is waiting for you in water-based lubricants.
Description
This aloe vera version of Mixgliss NÜ gel retains the same 2-in-1 concept: a lubricant that also serves as a massage gel, designed for the Japanese Nuru technique. I recommend it if you want to focus on aloe vera as the key ingredient for a smooth, full-body massage, alone or with a partner. The 150 ml bottle can be mixed with up to 50% water to intensify the glide, and rinses off easily once the session is over.
An aloe vera, water-based formula
The formula is water-based, with aloe vera and 98% naturally derived ingredients. It also contains glycerin, trehalose, gluconolactone, and Laminaria japonica extract, among other ingredients listed by the manufacturer. Fragrance-free and colorless, it has a transparent, fluid texture that is neither sticky nor greasy to the touch. It is dermatologically tested, has a skin-friendly pH, is suitable for vegans, and is made in France—all criteria I systematically check before recommending a lubricant.
How I use it every day
Pour the gel onto your partner's body, then mix one dose of gel with one dose of warm water to adjust the fluidity. Start the full-body massage in the shower, bath, or on a waterproof surface, letting each part of your bodies glide against the other, from the back down to the legs. Since it is compatible with sex toys, you can also use it as a lubricant outside the context of a massage.
What you need to know before use
In case of an allergy, the manufacturer recommends consulting a doctor or pharmacist; if it comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. This gel is not recommended for children under 5 or for pregnant women. I recommend it if aloe vera is one of the ingredients you prioritize—for example, if you already enjoy using this plant in your other body-care products. If it is the Japanese seaweed aspect that interests you more, I also have the other version in my selection of water-based lubricants.
A friend’s tip — keep the bottle within reach in the bathroom rather than in a drawer; its texture works particularly well with the warm water in the shower.
