Tighten the lacing at the front by hand, adjusting it to the level of waist support you want, without pulling too hard on the cord. Once you’ve worn it, one step really matters: rinse it in cold water, exclusively by hand, never in a washing machine, whose drum could ruin the lacing long before it damages the fabric itself. Then lay it flat to dry, away from a radiator or any other source of heat, and keep it away from colored laundry while it’s wet to avoid any risk of color transfer.
